This years award theme has been chosen partially on the back of findings from Channel 4’s latest Mirror on the Industry study, which examines the true inclusivity of UK television advertisements. How to create an award-winning entry

AMV BBDO won 2021’s competition which focussed on the representation of Age in advertising – they produced a ground-breaking TV ad which brought to life the realities of the Menopause in a truly real, moving and at times a humorous way!

But not only did AMV BBDO win in 2021, they also won back in 2016 when we first launched The Diversity in Advertising Award, focussed on Disability.

Michele Oliver, VP Marketing at Mars, described the campaign as “the most successful campaign for an 80-year-old brand that we’ve had for over a decade!
